# 11.About Vos airdrop

In the early days of Bitcoin and Ethereum development, some communities adopted token airdrops as a distribution method. For example, the Bitcoin community conducted a token airdrop in 2010, and the Ethereum community conducted a token airdrop in 2014. In recent years, with the continuous development of blockchain technology and the growing maturity of the cryptocurrency market, airdrops have become a common way of distributing digital currencies. Vorsi distributes its tokens through airdrops to reach a wider audience and increase the project's influence. Airdrops incentivize community users to participate in the project, build loyalty, and increase token circulation, ultimately increasing the token's market value.

Therefore, Vorsi will conduct multiple rounds of airdrops using 5% of the tokens, which is 105 million Vos, to increase community engagement.
